SPRING ONION AND GARLIC DIP
INGREDIENTS
Hung curd (thick)

1 cup

Spring onion with greens (onion minced and greens finely shredded)

Garlic cloves grated
|
3 - 4 nos
|
Minced green chilli
|
1 no
|
Cumin pdr
|
1/8 tsp
|
White pepper pdr
|
1/8 tsp
|
Salt
|
T.T.
|
METHOD:
1.
Beat the curd well and make sure it is lump
free. Or pass the curd through a blender or also a sieve for velvety
smoothness. Remove into a bowl.
2.
Now add in all the other remaining ingredients
except the spring onion greens.
3.
When all is mixed well then finally add in the
greens and mix lightly.
4.
Or you can also put the spring onion bulb (no
greens), garlic cloves and green chilli in a grinder and grind to a paste.
5.
Then add in the hung curd along with cumin pdr,
salt and pepper pdr. Blend once more.
6.
Remove in a serving bowl and sprinkle finely
shredded onion greens on top.
7.
Chill and serve with pita bread, bread sticks, toasted
croutons, nachos or sticks of carrot, cucumber, celery sticks etc.
