PAPAD STUFFED PARATHA

INGREDIENTS

Wheat flour
1 cup
Salt             
T.T.
Water
As required
Oil
1 tbsp + ½ tsp+ for frying
Urad Papads
4 small or 2 large per paratha
Chilli pdr
½ tsp
Chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp

 

METHOD:

1.       Dry roast the papads on a griddle.
 

2.       Crush them coarse of breadcrumb like consistency.
 


3.       To it add salt, chilli pdr, ½ tsp oil and chopped coriander leaves.
 


4.       Mix it up to form crumbly mix.

5.       Add ¼ tsp salt to the wheat flour and knead into medium soft dough using water and 1 tbsp oil.

6.       Rest it for 15 min.

7.       Divide into egg sized balls.
 

8.       Using flour roll the ball into a small disc.

9.       Stuff the prepared masala into it. Secure the edges properly so that the papad crush does not come out while rolling.
 


10.   Roll out with light hands to form into a paratha. Leave it a little thick.
 

11.   Roast it on a hot griddle on both sides till golden brown.

 

12.   Serve hot.
