MASALA PAPAD CONES
INGREDIENTS
Urad papads
|
2 nos large or 4 small
|
Onion small minced
|
1 no.
|
Tomato deseed and finely chop
|
1 no.
|
Coriander leaves chopped
|
1 tbsp
|
Chaat masala
|
¼ tsp
|
Red chilli pdr
|
¼ tsp
|
Salt
|
T.T.
|
Roasted jeera / cumin pdr
|
1 – 2 pinches
|
METHOD:.
1.
Mix together all the ingredients except the
papads. Chill
2.
Heat a griddle. Cut the papads in half. Roast the
papads on the griddle pressing them with a kitchen towel till they are lightly
coloured.
3.
Remove and immediately turn them to form a cone.
Do it while hot and pliable because it tends to cools immediately and once it
cools it becomes crisp and it will break.
4.
Fill up the prepared onion tomato mix into the
cones just before serving or it will get soggy.
5.
You can prepare the papad cones in advance and
keep them in an air tight container and use as needed.
