ITALIAN MARINATED MUSHROOMS
INGREDIENTS
Button mushrooms
|
15 – 20 nos
|
Garlic minced
|
1 tbsp
|
Spring onion bulbs sliced
|
5 – 6 nos
|
Olive oil
|
1 tbsp + 2 tbsp
|
Parsley chopped
|
½ tbsp.
|
Thyme
|
¼ tsp
|
Salt
|
T.T.
|
Pepper pdr
|
T.T.
|
Balsamic Vinegar OR Lime Juice
|
1 - 1½ tbsp
|
Olives (optional)
|
5 – 6 nos
|
METHOD
1. Wash the mushrooms and remove the
stems.

Drizzle
over with the remaining 2 tbsp olive oil, drop in the olives and refrigerate.
9. Chill for atleast 2 hours before
serving.

Usually marinated mushrooms are prepared uncooked and left for a couple of hours in the fridge before serving. That is how is how I do them although these look good and would be fine also uncooked, I imagine.
