DAHI BHUTTI / CURD RICE

Rice

Dahi / Curd
|
2 cups

Milk
|
½ cup

Ginger grated

½ tsp

Green chillies roughly cut in 2 - 3 pcs
each

Kakdi / Cucumber grated

1 no
|
Salt
|
T.T.
|
Sugar
|
½ tsp
|
Coriander leaves chopped
|
2 sprigs
|
Pomegranate pearls
|
½ cup
|
Curry leaves
|
1 sprig
|
Oil
|
2 tbsp
|
Rai / mustard seeds
|
¼ tsp
|
Heeng / asafoetida
|
¼ tsp
|
METHOD:

Pour the tadka over the curd rice and mix. Now add in the pomegranate pearls reserving a few for garnish.

Chill before serving garnished with the
remaining pomegranate and coriander leaves.
